Bake the perfect Air Fryer Baked Potatoes every time! You'll love them for their crispy golden skins and perfectly fluffy middles. They are delicious as a side dish with steak or as a main meal loaded with tasty toppings such as cheese and baked beans!
The great thing about using the air fryer to bake potatoes is that you can set it and forget it. Plus, it is more economical than using an oven. The potatoes cook slightly faster in an air fryer and will cook even quicker if you microwave them first for a few minutes.
Potatoes come in all shapes and sizes; I have used medium/large potatoes for this recipe. If the potatoes are small, they will bake much quicker; if they are large, they will take longer.
My Phillips air fryer can fit four large potatoes in the basket, which is perfect for us, but I often use it to cook just one potato, which I have for lunch. I've listed below some tasty topping ideas and inspiration to get started.
